Steering Committee

Purpose & Roles

The 2nd TKM Davos Forum relies on the expert guidance and oversight of its dedicated steering committee. This committee, composed of key stakeholders and individuals with specialized expertise, plays a pivotal role in shaping every facet of the forum, ensuring its success and alignment with its core objectives.

The steering committee’s responsibilities extend across several critical areas:

1. Strategic Direction and Agenda Setting:

The committee defines the overarching theme and focus of the forum, carefully curating an agenda that addresses the most timely and relevant issues. This involves identifying key discussion points, shaping the narrative, and ensuring a cohesive and impactful flow of ideas throughout the event.

2. Speaker Selection and Coordination:

Recognizing the importance of bringing together thought leaders and influential voices, the committee meticulously selects speakers who can provide unique insights, ignite meaningful discussions, and inspire attendees. They handle all aspects of speaker coordination, from invitations and briefings to logistical arrangements.

3. Logistical Oversight and Resource Management:

A successful forum demands meticulous planning and execution. The steering committee oversees all logistical aspects, including venue selection, accommodation arrangements, catering, and on-site coordination, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all participants.

4. Collaboration with External Partners and Experts:

To supplement their expertise, the committee strategically collaborates with external partners and specialized consultants. This may include event management companies, technology providers, or subject matter experts who can provide additional support and resources.

5. Awards Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment:

The steering committee plays a crucial role in evaluating the effectiveness of the forum's awards program, ensuring it aligns with the forum's goals and recognizes deserving individuals or organizations. They also conduct post-event evaluations to assess the overall impact and identify areas for improvement in future iterations.
